BIOGRAPHY

The Legendary Rap Group LIVE SQUAD first appeared on a limited and extremely rare single by Top Priority/ Percie-P BQ in affect on Gotham City records titled "WE  AIN'T HAVING IT / TROOPING IT 87". In 1988 LIVE SQUAD signed with No Face Records/ DEF JAM but never released a project and eventually signed a big deal with TOMMY  BOY Records releasing a double side single, "HEARTLESS" / "Murderah" from the then fourth coming LP titled "GAME OF SURVIVAL"  which again was never released due to a stance against aggressive Hip Hop namely ICE-T & his Rock Group Body Count being a major contributing factor. From then on the group started producing songs for  DIGITAL UNDERGROUND , NAS and countless other groups but were mostly known for the vast of music for the late Great TUPAC such as "Holler if Ya Hear Me", "Pain", "God Bless the Dead", and many other tracks. The group played a big role in The Thug Life movement and still is one of UNDERGROUND'S ELITE RAP GROUPS of all time. In 1995, they took a big lost with the passing of the General of the Squad Big Stretch but never stopped recruiting new soldiers under the Squad Flag and in doing so LIVE SQUAD lives for ever...
